This is the route I intend on taking.
I found the Baja divide a few months back thanks to the great website. Bikepacking.com they were running a article on it. Also at around the same time the bike company Bombtrack made a great movie along with the Tales on Tyres team.
Now its pretty Gnar, mostly offroad. And some technical riding due to the geographical location. Check out the website for the Baja.
That only gets me to San Diego, so from there I am going to do the Pacific coast cycle route. Made famous and real by the amazing folks over at the Adventure Cycling Association. That route runs all the way up to Seattle.
From there i’v hacked together a route that’ll take me over to Banff. When there and after a resupply I’ll be heading south along the continental divide. All the way back to the Mexican border. A small little town in the USA call Antelope Well, NM.
The above image is the elevation gain and loss for the entire trip.
All in all it is going to be a hard, long ride.
I’ll be needing all of your help and support whilst out there to make this a worthwhile mission.
